Everything you need to know about The Sheet Spot, our services, and how it all works.

THE BASICS

Is this a laundry service?

Not quite. The Sheet Spot is a specialty mail-in folding service. We don't do general laundry, pickup, or drop-off. We do one thing — fold sheets — and we do it exceptionally well.

How does the process work?

It's simple. Order online and we'll send you a kit in the mail containing everything you need — a return mailer, a prepaid return label, and an instruction card. Pack your sheets and drop them in the mail. Once we receive them, we fold — or wash and fold — your sheets to hotel-quality perfection, package them beautifully, and ship them back to you within 24 hours of receiving your sheets.

How long does it take?

From the moment you drop your sheets in the mail, expect your order back at your door within 5–7 days. This includes shipping both ways and our 24-hour turnaround once your sheets arrive to us.

How do I place an order?

Simply visit our Order page, select your service, sheet size, and quantity, enter your shipping information, and complete your payment. It takes less than two minutes and we'll handle everything from there.

What sizes do you accept?

We accept Twin, Full/Queen, and King/Cal King sheet sets and fitted sheets. If you're unsure of your size, check the tag on your fitted sheet — it will list the size right on the label.

What's included in a sheet set?

A standard sheet set includes one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Twin sets include one pillowcase. If you're only sending fitted sheets, check out our Fitted Sheet service.

SENDING YOUR SHEETS

Do I need to wash my sheets before sending them for Fold-Only?

Yes. Fold-Only orders must be freshly washed and fully dry before being mailed in. We do not accept soiled or damp sheets. If your sheets arrive dirty or wet, your order will be returned to you unfolded.

Can I send brand-new sheets to be washed before first use?

Absolutely! Washing new sheets before first use is always a good idea. Simply select our Wash & Fold service and we'll launder and fold them to perfection before sending them back to you.

Can I send sheets directly from Amazon or another retailer?

Yes! If you've ordered new sheets and want them folded before they ever touch your bed, you can have them shipped directly to us. Just make sure to include your name and order number on the package so we can match it to your order. Contact us before placing your order so we can provide you with our mailing address.

Can I combine fitted-sheet-only and full-set services in the same order?

Absolutely! When placing your order, simply select the appropriate service and size for each item you're sending. We'll handle everything and return them all together in one shipment.

Can I send multiple sizes in one order?

Absolutely! If your household has multiple bed sizes, you can order multiple sets at once. Simply select the quantity and size for each set when placing your order. Each set will be individually packaged and returned to you together in one shipment.

What if my sheets have pet hair?

We love pets, but we ask that you remove as much pet hair as possible before mailing your sheets in. Excessive pet hair may affect the quality of your fold and, for Wash & Fold orders, may clog our equipment. Orders with excessive pet hair may be returned unprocessed.

What if my sheets have embroidery or delicate stitching?

We handle all sheets with care, however we recommend notifying us of any embroidery or delicate stitching when placing your order. While we will take extra precautions, The Sheet Spot is not responsible for any damage to delicate or decorative details that may occur during the folding, washing, or shipping process.

Do you accept all sheet materials?

We accept most standard sheet materials including cotton, microfiber, polyester, and linen. We do not accept silk sheets as they cannot be folded to our quality standard. If you are unsure whether your sheets qualify, please contact us before placing your order.

YOUR ORDER

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Once your order has been placed, we begin processing it immediately. If your kit has not yet been shipped, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate any changes. Once your kit has been mailed, we are unable to cancel or modify your order.

How do I track my order?

Once your return shipment is on its way back to you, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your delivery every step of the way.

What if I send the wrong size?

​Please make sure you select the correct size when placing your order. If the sheets you send do not match the size selected, your order will be held and you will be contacted to pay the difference before your sheets are folded and returned. Repeated size mismatches may result in order cancellation.

HANDLING & CARE

Is my order sanitary?

Absolutely. All Wash & Fold orders are laundered with care in a clean, dedicated workspace. Fold-Only orders are handled with the same attention to cleanliness. Your sheets are packaged immediately after folding to ensure they arrive fresh and pristine.

Can I send sheets that have stains for Wash & Fold?

While we do launder your sheets as part of our Wash & Fold service, we do not treat or target individual stains. If you have heavily stained sheets, we recommend pre-treating them at home before sending them in. The Sheet Spot is not responsible for stains that remain after washing.

What if my sheets arrive to you damaged?

We inspect all sheets upon arrival. If your sheets arrive with pre-existing damage such as tears, holes, or significant staining, we will contact you before proceeding with your order. The Sheet Spot is not responsible for any damage that exists prior to receiving your sheets.

Do you press or iron the sheets?

No. Our specialty is precision folding, not pressing or ironing. Our hotel-quality folds will leave your sheets looking crisp and neat, but we do not press or iron them.

SHIPPING & PACKING

Is shipping included in the price?

Yes — completely. Every order includes round-trip shipping both ways. We send you a kit with a prepaid return label so you can ship your sheets to us at no extra cost, and we cover the shipping when we send them back. What you see at checkout is what you pay, plus applicable taxes. No surprises.

How are my sheets packaged when returned?

Your sheets are returned in style. Each set is individually wrapped in tissue paper, tucked into a poly bag with a chipboard insert to keep everything crisp and protected, and packaged in our branded mailer. Your order arrives feeling less like laundry and more like a boutique purchase.

What if my package gets lost?

All orders are shipped with tracking so you can monitor your package every step of the way. The Sheet Spot is not responsible for packages lost or delayed by USPS once they have been handed off to the carrier. If your package is lost in transit in either direction, please contact USPS directly to file a claim. All Priority Mail shipments include up to $100 of insurance coverage.

What happens if my sheets arrive late or USPS delays the package?

Unfortunately shipping delays are outside of our control. Once a package has been handed off to USPS, The Sheet Spot is not responsible for any delays caused by the carrier. Rest assured that once your sheets arrive to us, regardless of any delays, we will process your order promptly and ship them back to you within 24 hours of receiving them. All orders are shipped with tracking so you can monitor your package every step of the way. If you have concerns about a delayed package, please contact USPS directly.

What if I'm not happy with the results?

We take great pride in our work and stand behind every fold. If you have a concern about your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your sheets and we will do our best to make it right.
